Freelancer Explorer
Greetings
Here are the 3 issues I had with this quite simple program. I think if I know how to fix these, I will be fine for creating any system I can imagine. Almost.
1. Even if I check a field to be mineable it remains "depleted"
2. I need a way to add object names + infocards
3. I need a tip about texxturing the map. All fields look like scrap metal fields there, however they are fine in 3D
Thank you very much for the help
Regards

Re: Freelancer Explorer
1) Of course, mining ratios have to be set in DATA\SOLAR\ASTEROIDS\<asteroid field nickname>.ini
2) If you plan to add things into The Threat, I'm sorry but I'm the only one who will add entries into the dlls to not create additional bugs. If not have a look here:
https://klgs.forumactif.org/t179-how-search-check-and-or-edits-infocards
3) You don't have to texture the map, to have the correct fields shown on screen you have to add the correct number into your <system nickname>.ini file:
- look for the the section concerning your asteroid field
- then look for a section called 'property_flags'
Example:
Here are the property_flags available values (big thanks to VNM51):
property_flags = 0 (Invisible in NavMap)
property_flags = 64 (Rock Asteroids in NavMap)
property_flags = 66 (Rock in NavMap)
property_flags = 128 (Jersey Debris in NavMap)
property_flags = 129 (Detroit Debris Normal Density in NavMap)
property_flags = 130 (Debris High Density in NavMap)
property_flags = 132 (Debris Low Density in NavMap)
property_flags = 256 (Small Ice Asteroids in NavMap)
property_flags = 258 (Ice Asteroids in NavMap)
property_flags = 512 (Lava Rocks in NavMap)
property_flags = 1024 (Green Asteroids in NavMap)
property_flags = 2049 (Ice Asteroids in Navmap)
property_flags = 4096 (Minefield in NavMap)
property_flags = 4128 (Minefield in NavMap)
property_flags = 8192 (Asteroid Field)
property_flags = 8200 (Asteroids)
property_flags = 16400 (Ice Nebula in NavMap)
property_flags = 62768 (Nebula in NavMap, property_fog_color)
property_flags = 65536 (Exclusion/Unknown)
property_flags = 131072 (Exclusion/Unknown)
property_flags = 196608 (Exclusion/Unknown)
Hope this helps

Re: Freelancer Explorer
Thank you very much!
This should get me en route. I will still need a small amount of information, but in general I'm fine for now.
